What equipment do you have?

The following equipment is available at each event:
  • Mixer and PA for live performances:
    • 6 mono channels with both XLR and tele / jack inputs
    • 2 stereo channels with tele / jack inputs only
    • phantom power for condenser microphones
    • high and low EQ on all channels
    • the mixer also has built-in reverb and multieffects (delay / phaser / pitch / flanger, etc) with 2 aux sends, so that each channel can be sent to the selected reverb or multieffect if desired.
  • 3 microphones with stands
  • 3 XLR-XLR cables (normally used to connect our microphones to the mixer, but can also be used to plug in any equipment you bring yourself, providing it has XLR outputs of course)
  • 2 tele-tele / jack-jack cables (used for example to connect guitars and other instruments with built in preamps to the mixer)
  • For DJs, there is a DJ mixer, two turntables / vinyl players, and two DJ CD players
  • A piano

The equipment listed above is all that will be available on the night, and Cafe Montag does not have access to anything other than what is listed here. So if you require any additional equipment for your performance then you will need to bring it yourself. This includes any other kinds of cables or adapters which you might need in order to connect your own stuff to the mixer. If you need to borrow additional equipment for your performance then we recommend that you get in touch with Folkuniversitet, who often loan out equipment to musicians and performers.
